Step 1: Review Who Attends SAGE? to see if you qualify for SAGE 2019.
Step 2: Fill out and submit the online application form.
Step 3: Contact potential references and direct them to the reference form submission page.
Step 4: Submit a letter of interest and all relevant transcripts to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your full name in the file name of all submitted application materials (e.g. JohnSmithTranscript01.pdf).
Please ensure that all application materials, including reference forms, have been electronically submitted by Sunday, March 31 at 8:00PM EDT. Course fees and proof of insurance are not considered application materials and will only be requested following notification of acceptance. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Note: Applications will be open for SAGE 2019 from January 15 - March 31 only. The faculty will begin reviewing applications on April 1st and will send email notifications of acceptance in mid- to late-April.
Include a description of your educational background, courses, and experience that have prepared you for participation in SAGE. Describe your career goals and your interest in SAGE as it relates to your academic or career development. Limit one page, single-spaced.
Please supply two (2) references from an academic advisor, research advisor, academic mentor, professor for relevant coursework, or supervisor. A complete reference consists of a filled out reference form (available here) and may include a letter of recommendation (encouraged but not required). Please contact your references well in advance of the application deadline.
Please provide transcripts for all colleges or universities that you have attended (unofficial copies are acceptable). For your identity protection, please mark through/black-out any Personal Identifying Information (PII) such as address, SSN, etc.
Students will be notified of acceptance into SAGE via email by mid-April. Once accepted, students will be asked to provide proof of health insurance and a $750 course fee.
